Engineering Applied Mathematics
METGR have research expertise covering mathematical analysis, partial differential equations, numerical analysis, applied probability, multiscale modeling, and numerical optimization with applications in material science. In METGR, we look for important connections with other disciplines that may inspire interesting and useful mathematics, and where innovative mathematical reasoning may lead to new insights and applications. Specifically, we focus in engineering applied mathematics and in materials engineering, working to solve existing problems and inventing new mathematical methods to anticipate and meet the challenges of new problems as they arise.
