Dr. Abdelbaset R H Midawi has received Gold Medal Award in CanWeld. Innovation and Entrepreneurship Idea Competition

Dr. Emshadi and his colleagues developed a sensor to monitor blood sugar through breath. Dr. Emshadi won the STEM division of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Idea Competition for his inventing a sensor device that measures acetone to determine an individual’s blood glucose level. This competition was sponsored by the SDSU Department of Economic and Division of Research and Economic Development.

After his first year as a mathematics instructor for engineering students at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Osama Fakron has accept a job offer from Navajo Technical University as an assistant professor..
